Kind words

I know Aine  in a personal and professional capacity since 1978. She is a true poet and wizard with words. Her natural ability to celebrate is well known to those close to her. I have even heard it said that Aine, if someone had a tooth fall out, would have a  tooth fairy celebration!!!

On a more serious note, Aine has a natural talent for storytelling and poetry. She tunes into  the atmosphere of any occasion and creates a special ‘moment in time’ for all concerned. Honoured to call Aine friend, I have been privileged to share many sad and joyous occasions with her  where she has made valued contributions.

Serving as I did. as principal in the special school where Aine taught for many years, I witnessed at first hand her capacity to show dignity and respect to the students in her care, their needs and wants and indeed to guide their ability to celebrate ability (  versus disability). The wider school community of students, staff, parents, management and even teaching organisations have witnessed and remarked on Aine’sskilled  way of paying true attention to celebrating  individuality and learning. Her school graduation ceremonies were always amazing celebrations of the giftedness of each student.  This does not happen by accident but by meticulous preparation and attention to detail.
